  • Out of State Competitor's Waiver

  • Events:

    • Events are open to amateur skaters who are members of the USFSA or ISI.  The NSG reserves the right to limit, combine, divide, or eliminate events based on applications received.
       

  • Entries:

    • All skaters must have a primary residence in the state of Connecticut or be a member of either a Connecticut figure skating club or the ISI.  Entries must be postmarked no later than June 1, 2010.  Only fully completed applications are accepted.

       

    • A $65.00 entry fee for the Free Skating, Short Program, Dance Program, Test Track, Compulsory, Showcase, Adult, Solo Dance or Basic Skills Competition must accompany the attached Official Entry form and the Athlete’s Waiver Pledge and Consent Agreement form.  Additional events entered are $15.00 each.  Competitors may skate only in events for which they qualify. 

                                      

    • Refunds will NOT be granted unless an event is cancelled.  There will be no refunds for withdrawals due to medical reasons.

      Make check or money order payable to NUTMEG STATE GAMES.  Please write separate checks and entry forms if more than 1 family member is entering the competition.

  • Test:

    • Test status is effective as of Tuesday, June 1st
       

  • Music:

    • Competitors’ CDs should be delivered at the time of check in. A duplicate CD should also be Readily Available.  CDs should be clearly marked with the name of the competitor and event.   All programs must start at the beginning of the CD and be the only music on the CD.  Cassette Tapes will NOT be accepted.  No CDRW Disks. All dance compulsory music will be provided by CSA at Newington
       

  • Awards:

    •  Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each group. Placement will be determined by the 6.0 system!

  • Action Photos

    • Action Photos will be onsite for the Figure Skating Competition providing professional photography of all the events. For further details please follow this link: http://www.actionphotos.com/.
       

  • Classic Video Productions:

    • Classic Video Productions (CVP) will be filming every skater in every figure skating event. CVP has been filming figure skating competitions for many years. Events include The Southern Connecticut Open (formerly The Darien Open), The Cranberry Open, The Charter Oak Open, The Terry Conner’s Basic Skills Competition and previous Nutmeg State Games. All events are filmed in High Definition and burned to DVD. Blu Ray Discs can also be ordered.

  • Schedule:

    • Event check-in is 1 hour prior to the event.  Time schedules and directions to the rink will be published after the deadline date on the Nutmeg State Games official Website. www.nutmegstategames.org

  • Practice Ice:

    • Practice Ice will be available Friday, July 9 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M and Saturday, July 10

    • 6 A.M. to 8 A.M.  Practice ice may be purchased on a 1st come 1st serve basis on the day of the practice ice session and will be limited to 20 skaters per 25 minute session.  Session price is $15.  Practice session levels may be restricted by level.
